Irving proving how valuable he is?

Celtics are a true team, maximizing all of their pieces in a way typically reserved for the Warriors and Spurs.

Also, the Cavs issues run a lot deeper than just not having Kyrie. Jeff Green has been their second best player up to now for Christ sakes.

Are you claiming Irving isn't showing that he's a really important and valuable player?

The Lakers beat a solid Grizz team....:heh:

So far, they've been pretty good at home. 4-3 at home, with wins over Memphis, Detroit, and Washington (and a win over Brooklyn, who is playing relatively well right now) and relatively close games against Toronto and New Orleans.

Yeah.....I'm cautiously optimistic.....we'll see......but they look decent.

Ups and downs, much like I expect Ball's season to be. I'd be happy with 33-36 wins and showing solid improvement from last season.

The Cavs really need to trade for Okafor. This is unfair towards LeBron. Some other person must be able to put the ball in the basket.
I find myself lacking the motivation to feel sorry for LeBron.

He and his management Team are responsible for a few f those bad contracts that are preventing them from getting him help.

He is also a notorious Team stacker and will abandon ship with the quicks if the deck isn't heavily slanted in his favor.

So, boo-fucking-who.....

Yeah, they're fun to watch. They aren't making the playoffs this year and will do well to hit about 35 or so wins. But at least things are moving in the right direction and should help them to be players in the 2018 FA market.

Shit the Lakers are 5-5 right now? I would have thought they'd be 0-10. And you know why gets most the credit right?

Better than being middle of the pack and either swept in the 1st round or a shit lottery pick.

Imo, it depends. If you are a middle of the pack team getting swept in the first round because you are a young developing team and that's part of your learning process...then I agree, that's better.

However, if you're a team with average/used to good veteran players and have no way of improving, then it's not better.

Glad to see you're coming around.
