And It meant nothing because the warriors still won easily.

Starting Love at the 5 sounds nice in theory, but it also eliminates one of 2 advantages Cleveland has. GS' small lineup is a lot better than Cleveland's. Making them keep Zaza on the court as long as possible is Cleveland's best chance.

Did you see Tristan play in the finals last year? With all the acquisitions the Cavs made this summer, they can put together a nice small ball lineup. They can go with a lineup of IT/Rose, Wade, JR, Crowder, and Lebron when Golden State go to their small ball lineup.

I did.

I also believe the Cavs big lineup was a big part of why they won in 2016.

They can't beat the Warriors at their own game. Go small and they allow the Warriors to do the same. Advantage GS.

They need more than they got from TT last year in the finals if they want their big lineup to be successful

I agree.

At the same time, going small for more of the game isn't the answer.

IT, Wade/Smith, LeBron, Crowder and Love

Doesn't stack up very well with the Warrior death lineup.

they definitely played Kuz a LOTTA minutes tonight. Lopez and Bogut didn't play, we over passed in some situations, and traffic in and out was a bitch...

still, fun game to watch. ..

oh, don't play Nance at the 5 again ...

I saw you on line waiting for an autograph from Lavar

Yeah, you can't out Warrior the Warriors.

I think the Old grit and grime Grizzly or he buys in Nola can guarantee 've Lethem fits on the interior.

But, neither of those Teams had/have enough scoring or defense to sustain for 4 quarters.

IT, JR, Bron, Jae, Love. Think of the threes.

Jae is what makes moving Love to center really possible. Jae/Love is a better defensive frontcourt than Love/TT.

TT is overrated as a defender and love is underrated. Neither are rim protectors but love is actually pretty solid at post defense. And Love is the better defensive rebounder by a lot, which is an overlooked but critical part of team defense.

Also, Jae/Love is a way better frontcourt for Rose/Wade to play with. They stretch the defense (which Rose and Wade can't do), opening space for them to do what they can do... Drive and slash.

Josh Richardson getting his Whiteside on...lol

He's clowning Shroeder.

How many blocks is that?

How good did he look? Saw the Heat beat writers tweeting how he was putting on a show in the 3rd quarter

Poor gordon. Trying so hard to believe the Cavs have a chance vs. the Dubs.

Best that you just abandon all hope. It'll make for a much less stressful season for you. :dhd:

He was clowning...lol

Hitting shots, blocking fools, getting out on the break....

Winslow looked good defensively too.

But, I was impressed by Richardson.

Guy got paid and is still working his tail off.
