How can they lock him up when KC wont sign a fair offer right now? If you are referring to last year, you wanted the SKins to make KC the highest paid qb in the nfl after 1 starting average season? Jackson got huge money to go to Tampa and is always hurt. Garcon also got big money from SF. We drafted a 1st round WR 2 years ago and got Pryor in FA. So its not a big change at all.

No but I do call the Cardinals a contender. 2018 Palmer will be gone. A great defense, a good O-line, & a franchise type RB. An excellent fit. Cardinals will have $45 mil in space.

This ^^^^ is one of the fears I have and why I'd still be gun-shy about pulling the trigger on a LTD for KC. I also see his performance of the last 2 years to be gaudy, loud, and at times very entertaining. I also found his performance lacking in substance at critical times in games the last 2 years. And given the way the Skins stumbled down the stretch going 2-4, predictably losing to certain teams while predictably beating a few others. I can't help, but wonder if KC's improvement, or supposed improvement in the area of beating teams with a winning record, (Cousins W/L record against teams with 9 or more wins is 2-11 with both wins coming last season and against teams with 8 wins his W/L is 5-13) is lacking in substance as well.

And yeah, the Skis FO (Bruce Allen) has fucked this up big time including Scotty Mac. Who supposedly said soon after his dismissal as the Skins GM. That he believed Cuz had hit his ceiling during the course of last year.

Thats some good information regarding his W/L record vs good teams....I think Matt Stafford has suffered a similar fate, just much worse, in his career, when it comes to facing good teams

Its just such a tough spot for any organization when you have a QB thats "pretty good", but probably have to wonder behind closed doors if he can ever take you to the promiseland.....I see the Bengals with Dalton much the same way....Good bet to win you 9-11 games a season, but I think we would all be shocked if Dalton is ever playing in the last game of the season

I think Djax was gone regardless, though I would've preferred to keep him and Garcon as well. I think our pass catchers will be alright this year. No question though, some solid players who produced have went elsewhere and what's replacing them is pretty much our hope in the replacing players potential at this point.
