I get that, but the way that RW reacted tells me that they probably weren't as close as most thought-or as close as Pau & Kobe.

And even if RW felt like KD had ducked him he could've picked up the phone & had a private conversation with him about it rather than act out in the media and/or when they met on the court. I think that's the reason close relationships break up in most cases. People don't know how to communicate about things that are not easy to talk about and so they clam up. Nothing gets resolved that way. I believe it's important to be able to call people out-especially the ones closest to you to help keep the relationship honest & healthy.

Regardless of what people think of LJ in terms of being in the conversation for GOAT, his performance with the 2007 Cavs team was nothing of one of the all-time great performances in NBA. I don't know of another example of a player single handedly carrying a team to the finals.
