Neither, Complaining about Beating Losing Teams. USC faced Fewer, Beat More. Was someone trying to claim that Texas was good or had a tougher schedule?
Last SEC TitleAll of 'em. Just being in the SEC elevates a team automatically. Membership has it privilege ya know.
I should have used the sarcasm font!Last SEC Title
Alabama - 2016
Auburn - 2013
LSU - 2011
Florida - 2008
Georgia - 2005
Tennessee - 1998
Kentucky - 1976
Ole Miss - 1963
Mississippi State - 1941
Vanderbilt - Never
South Carolina - Never
Arkansas - Never
Texas A&M - Never
Missouri - Never
Half the SEC has not won a SEC Title in over 53 Years.
Don't dumb down your sarcasm for the unintelligent. They are just dragging you down to their level.I should have used the sarcasm font!
You are Kidding Right.
USC went 10-3 playing 6 Losing Teams
Texas Went 5-7 playing 7 Losing Teams
Yep baked beans the "Musical Fruit".Baked beans should have been on the list.
Looking at teams that actually have a shot of making the playoffs, I see it has the Big12. I don't know if anyone outside of Oklahoma has a legitimate shot at it. PAC has USC and Washington. B1G has OSU, Penn State, and an outside shot with Wisconsin. ACC has Clemson and FSU. Now the SEC, I don't know if anyone is going to be able to beat Bama. So despite head to head results, I'll give the nod to Bama over Oklahoma.
I would put Ohio State first as the have long been the most consistent to being high up in conference. Penn State number 2 as defending champ I will give the nod over Wisconsin. Wisconsin has probably the easiest path to the championship game, but I think for now, the other two should be ranked higher. No way is Wisconsin an "outside" shot this year when they have a drastically easier schedule than last season and were up by 4 scores in the BIG champ game despite one of the toughest schedules in the NCAA last season?
I would say they're the favorites or tied at the very least.
Let's be honest. Who besides Bama is contending in the SEC?
Hate to say it but the BigXII again. OU should be good but not Championship Caliber. OkieLite will be good but not great. Texas will improve but almost anything is an improvement. TCU will be about the same. WVU is a wild card, so not sure. TT,KU and ISU bottom shelf. Baylor, sucks and who the fuck cares.
According to this logic, the SEC and B1G will be weak as well, as both only have 1 legit playoff contender (tOSU and Bama).
I'd put the B1G as slightly better as I feel like Penn State might have an outside shot like okie state has an outside shot.
True, but the committee has a massive hard on for the Buckeyes.
Yes they do. In terms of legit CFP contenders the top two conferences look like the PAC with Washington and USC, followed by the ACC with Florida State and Clemson by those standards.
I think Clemson takes a step back with the loss of Watson. Watson is more of a once in a lifetime player like VY or Tebow.
