Looking at teams that actually have a shot of making the playoffs, I see it has the Big12. I don't know if anyone outside of Oklahoma has a legitimate shot at it. PAC has USC and Washington. B1G has OSU, Penn State, and an outside shot with Wisconsin. ACC has Clemson and FSU. Now the SEC, I don't know if anyone is going to be able to beat Bama. So despite head to head results, I'll give the nod to Bama over Oklahoma.

Every Single Team in the PAC will take a step back from last year except for Washington.

So the PAC wins the prize.

I don't believe that USC will take a step back, despite some losses in the draft. Their big out of conference game is easier than last year (Bama > Texas) and the only team that should be a threat to them in conference (Washington) they won't see, if at all, until the conference championship game.

Yeah, USC has what was voted as the toughest schedule in the PAC, but even with that, the schedule works out nicely since, with the exception of Notre Dame and Colorado, all of the biggest threat games (WMU, Stanford, Texas, Utah and UCLA) are at the Coliseum. Plus, the game with Oregon St. isn't in Corvallis and it's not on Thursday. Amirite @mrwallace2ku ?

The only other potential concern is that there is no bye week. However, I'm not sure how big a deal that is. The coaches seem to look at it as, if there are injuries or the team is struggling, the love bye weeks. But if the team is on a roll, they hate them.

I wouldn't be too worried about WMU. They lost a bunch including their head coach.

Way too early for this. I'd probably go Big 12 or PAC. Big 10 could be weak also. Right now you are just guessing how 4-8 look in each conference. I have 0 interest in trying to figure that out

Western will be lucky to win 4 games.

Returning a decent backfield, that's it.

Losing a four year QB would be huge, even without losing the best WR in school
History, multiple lineman and most of the defense.

Will be a tough go for them in tMAC this year. Unfortunately we aren't part of the BIG12.
