Here's a potential bombshell. Any more on this Heat fans?

Did Dwyane Wade hint that he is leaving Miami Heat?

We all saw it/heard it.
I personally took at as him just misspeaking.
Who knows though?

1. Riley isn't going to kill his 2016 cap space for anyone if he can avoid it, and with Wade, he can.

2. Wade just needs to either not opt out, or come to Riley with terms for maybe a 1 year max. Let Arison pay the tax, and call it a day.

3. Prove your long term worth. Stay healthy.

4. Who on earth is going to give him anywhere near 3 yr 50/60 M (what is reported he wants)? Plus most anywhere else he's paying state taxes.

5. If he's that butt hurt....then bye bye.. Go to the Cavs.

Dont think the Cavs can afford Wade, but can you imagine this lineup. 3 in the starting lineup would be injury prone also lol:

Kyrie
Wade
Lebron
Love
TT

No way the money works unless he and James play for next to nothing, which isn't going to happen.

Not sure if it works without Love because then you lose Birds rights, etc..

And a combo of Kyrie/Wade would be a disaster, injury wise, waiting to happen.

If they could stay healthy and make it all work under the cap (including a decent bench) THAT team could approach 70 wins.

The Wade/James combo isn't winning 70 because they don't care about winning 70.
The regular season becomes a bore fest because they know IT DOES NOT MATTER.

They want to win 16 once the playoff starts.

True. Kyrie, Love and TT might feel differently though. I'm sure Lebron and D-Wade would at least go along for the ride as long as the youngsters did the heavy lifting. Then they could do theirs in the playoffs.

They might, but followers usually follow.

As I stated at the time, I grew so tired off watching all Heat players just jack off for 3/4 of the games.

Plus, in this day and age, a cushion in the standings or a rough patch on the scale is a reason to rest.

The days of 70 are over IMO.

Here are my thought on DWade. Pay him a ton on a 1 year deal. But anything past that is stupid. And even that idea is probably stupid. In 2016 Whiteside will be a free agent along with every one else. We need money. We dont need 20 million in a 35 year old with knee issues.

From DWade's side... I think he wants to go to Clippers. If he has to take a pay cut.. why not move to L.A. where your wife works? They live in Miami now for DWade's job. If DWade has to take a pay cut, move to LA let your wife make the money. I am sure she loves Miami, but probably is cool with L.A. Just putting that out there.. DWade has a voice in his ear now. Who knows where Mrs Union wants to be?

I'm ok with Wade leaving at this point. Miami latest deal was as fair as they come.

3 yr/36 million for Wade is what he should expect at this point.

I hate to admit it... you are right. he needs to take the 16.1 million this year. Miami will likely offer the 36 million next year..if he truly is worried about total money then 3 year 36 million is probably better than anything else he is going to see. It's almost better if Wade hits free agency and sees what the demand for him is.

Saw some reports today from Cleveland that the team expects both Lebron and Love to opt out. For Lebron, its purely financial and he's just signing a shorter deal for the upcoming salary boom. For Love, no one there really has a clue if he'll come back or not

How much help does Lebron need? Seriously.

Or the Lakers lol. Kobe and Wade---a great injured duo right there

If they had the cash, why not. With the injured issues they needs some bench players that can play, just in case one of the starters gets hurt. Honestly, I dont want Wade, it's fun thinking about though.

Funny thing is that if the Lakers were in "get Kobe 1 more ring" mode like they were with the Dwight/Nash deal, I could actually see that happening.

Fortunately, even Kobe accepts that it's not the case and that they are looking at putting together a good young core of players. Wade actually could help the Clips a good bit though if he stayed healthy and they got 65-70 games out of him.
