Does he have a valid point? Talib is a damn good shutdown corner.....not that it will matter this weekend as Denver have 4 guys they can consistently go to
They should have 5 or 6. Talib shuts down D Thomas that only leaves two white WRs and a young TE for the Pats to cover in a nickle package with 4 free DBs. And young OLB Collins might shut down young TE J Thomas by himself.
Sherman has more tackles, more assists, more INT's and more passes defended. Since Sherman also has close to the fewest passes thrown his way, there really is no question who is better. Bayless is simply trying to be controversial, just like always.

Decker and Welker. They wouldn't intimidate anybody without a Manning or Brady as their QB (and in Welker's case, the best WR of his era in Randy Moss to pull a lot of coverage away to himself)
