If both guys were available for free to any other team but they could only have one which player would they take? I think as of right now 32 out of 32 teams would pick Sherman. Bayless is just looking to get even with Sherman for getting embarrassed on his own show.

Sherman has more tackles, more assists, more INT's and more passes defended. Since Sherman also has close to the fewest passes thrown his way, there really is no question who is better. Bayless is simply trying to be controversial, just like always.

They should have 5 or 6. Talib shuts down D Thomas that only leaves two white WRs and a young TE for the Pats to cover in a nickle package with 4 free DBs. And young OLB Collins might shut down young TE J Thomas by himself.

INT's is not the only thing to judge CB's on. You also need to take into consideration that Talib played 3 less games than Sherman so tackles/assist would be even while Talib would have more passes defended because he had 13 in 13 games while Sherman had 16 in 16 games.

This is just Skip saying stuff to get ratings. He knows that Seattle fans will watch if he insults Sherman. It is nothing more than that. Anybody with half a brain can see Sherman is the best Corner in football. I would say the gap between him and others is a lot larger than that between the 2nd best and 3rd best corner.


Now I will say Talib is talented but this year has been somewhat inconsistent for him. He has had injuries so that has played a role but I just don't see how anybody could want Talib over Sherman. I think another part of this is Skip would die a happy man if Brady even acknowledged that he existed. He will say anything to help build up the Patriots and make them a juggernaut that the NFL has never seen before. Every year he picks the Patriots to win the Super Bowl so it should come as no surprise to anybody when he starts lifting them up like this.

WRONG! Sherman is the least targeted cornerback player per snap yet he STILL leads the NFL in interceptions. Sherman is the best cover corner AND the best playmaker. Sherman is clearly the best.

Why not just say Welker and Decker instead of two white WR's? The wording just seems odd and vaguely like you are suggesting the quality of WR play is influenced by color. Maybe I'm too sensitive, but it seemed an odd way of phrasing it.
