I mentioned basketball only because using your logic, Va Tech could easily have a better record than UVA in basketball this season. I was merely pointing out the significant flaw in your logic, as that "what-if" game can be applied either way.

Certainly, UVA won a few close games in football this year, but their losses against Virginia Tech and in their bowl game weren't among those. By the same standard, one "outside of the norm" replay reversal cost Va Tech the Sugar Bowl title.

The actual results are the ones that stand, and are therefore the only ones that are meaningful.

I didn't realize that, but I think I've sufficiently pointed out the flaw in that logic. Maybe that's what you should have done. Winning close games is the mark of a good team. At the end of the day, the "w" is what counts.

It appears that you've been led astray. Adopting faulty logic isn't normally a very good debate technique. I recommend against it in the future.

IIRC, that was all prior to ownership of SportsHoopla changing. I'm sure he would be allowed back. Especially after some of the other crazies they've let back.
