In this thread, I will list and continually update our list of committed football players for 2012. I will post their name, position, size and rankings from various recruiting websites. These websites, such as scout, rivals and ESPN have other good information that you guys should take a look at. Hokie Haven is an especially good source and you guys should check it out. If you want to see some cool breakdowns and videos, I would recommend joining, as they do a good job over there of collecting that stuff.

Yeah i really like Holmes, he showed good patience behind blockers and ran tough after contact. Imo though, he is a lot further from playing at this level than a Coleman or Harris <-------------Not saying he wont/cant have a good career at VT, just that i dont think he finds the immediate success of guys like david wilson, ryan williams, darren evans, etc.

Holmes is definitely the "forgotten man" out of the 2011 Class. He's a guy that made it clear he was going to stay in-state, and pretty much closed down his recruitment once he got the offers from Tech, UVA, and JMU. He has great vision, uses his blocks very well, and has pretty good speed....he reminds me a great deal of Darren Evans when he was in high school.

His junior year stats were pretty amazing: 2,749 yards and 41 TDs. I don't care how good your offensive line is, you have to be pretty good to produce those stats.
