Hurts needed to develop as a passer during the season and it didn't happen.

There were definitely plays to be had in the passing game. Didn't really give his receivers any chances on the throws downfield. Still, pretty impressive season for a true freshman.

Potato Salad. The hacks at ESPN didn't mention it but I was watching on a 4k TV and you could CLEARLY see that Bo Scarbrough was injured when he slipped on a small patch of potato salad. Bama couldn't win without him.

I don't know. Bama acted like they had the game in the bag and the Clemson will and heart just overtook them in the fourth quarter. Bama has a very good team, just not the best team.

When every drive in the 3rd quarter was 3 plays and 20 seconds off the clock i knew we were gonna lose. Not even the 85 Bears defense could play lights out for 99 plays.

I thought Sark did a good job, its just Jalen's a Freshman who doesnt have all the mental stuff and to be a QB down yet.

I thought this was arguably the worst Bama team to play for a title in years......lots of holes that the SEC couldn't expose because let's be honest, the rest of the conference sucked donkey balls this year.

And even with that, Clemson BARELY won. It was a great game. Bama has nothing to feel bad about, they were 1 second away from repeating as champs with a freshman QB.

Personally I think everyone did a good job all around, and somebody had to lose.

I don't see that at all. I thought this was one of the better Bama teams. They pulverized everyone on their way here. They were loaded with more talent than pretty much any other. Hurts is the dual threat Bama needed and with some more polish will be a huge star. I think Bo might be better than their other recent running backs (even Henry). They didn't have a lot of holes, they just were slightly weaker in the secondary since Saban's gameplan involves throwing everything at the QB and leaving the secondary out on islands. They lost because their defense, possibly the best defense ever (held an extremely deadly offense with a potential first round QB, WR, and RB to 7 in the first half), got gassed because they had to play 100 snaps. I think Bama was the more talented team without question, but even the best athletes get tired.
