Barkley is younger than both and already better than both . And he plays with a far worse QB. If Barkley was in Dallas his stats would make Zeke's look terrible. Don't get me wrong there are other very good backs but Barkley is on a different level
I mean, this is just absurdly stupid.

In comp ? Disagree . But it's all opinion
You honestly think Saquon Barkley in Dallas would make Zeke's 1400+ yards and 77 catches "look terrible"? That's just a stupid statement. You think he'd go there and rush for 3000 yards with 185 catches or something?

I think Barkley probably gets 1800+ and over 90 so yeah in comp . Of course I feel the same way about his numbers compared to any other back in their system . Imo he's a minimum of 20% better than the next best back in football

1. Elliott
2. Barkley
Even the people saying and voting for Elliot don't really believe what they're saying . It's not a believable position to hold and Zekes probably the 2nd or 3rd best back in the league. The disparity between the 2 is larger than the gap between Zeke and the 15th best back in the league

Not after one year. Great rookie year, but he isn't the best back in football if I had to take one RB based on age, prime years left, impact to team, etc. he would be at the top of the list but don't act like he is so much better than any other RB after only one year

Zeke has done it for more than one year so he's the real deal. Let's see what Barkley does this year.

There are some players who you can tell who are difference makers.....they simply pass the eye test. I could tell Eric Dickerson was different before his rookie year ended. I'm not saying Barkley is in ED's league, or that's he's that much better than anybody else, but he's special.

He's my #1 back in the league.

RBs have a limited shelf life. 1 year is more than enough sample size especially given what we saw in college .

There is NO ONE here ( if they're being honest ) who wouldn't trade their teams starting RB for Barkley straight up. If you claim otherwise you're lying

So in your mind, he would hit 6 YPC (Zeke had 304 carries last year), a number he only hit once in college (as a freshman), and catch 90 out of 95 targets? Seriously? The dude is good, but literally nothing whatsoever backs up your assertion.

Looks like Barkley is running away with this and rightfully so.

I think he would probably be close to 6 yes and yes a better receiving back than Zeke so he'd likely get more targets . I mean shit he averaged 5 behind one of the worst lines in football with teams stacking the box against him because his QB can't throw a spiral

It's the same reason I think OBJ goes off this year . Eli is putrid now. If you put up great numbers with him you're going to be even better elsewhere with a capable QB

He's my #1 back in the league.

That's why I would take him over any option for the future but I'm not anointing him the best after one year.

But that goes along with my reasoning. I said I would take him for the future, doesn't mean he is the best RB in the NFL right now. He could be by next year...if I look at all-time greats one season isn't making you a great even if you only play 5-6 seasons. Give it one more season at least than we can talk about it...without a doubt the kid is uber talented

Well the difference between Baker and Eli is pretty big at Eli's age...the accuracy the throw power. I expect OBJ to have a huge year and to be a big play magnet for Baker

Isn't that what this thread is asking ? Take the one back you'd want in your backfield ? I personally think Barkley is already the best but even if you think he's just close you're still taking him over anyone else because of age/money . Maybe in misunderstanding the thread title but that's how I took it
