Orlando ending Dwight Howard trade talks.

Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reports that Orlando is ending trade talks involving Dwight Howard.
At least that's the case for now. This could be a ploy for leverage on Orlando's part, or it's possible that the team will wait until closer to the deadline to try to deal Howard. Either way, it looks like talks have been tabled on the Howard front for the moment, making Chris Paul the focal point of trade rumors league-wide.

Orlando GM Otis Smith denied reports on Wednesday that he has called off trade talks involving Dwight Howard.
"That’s not where we are," Smith said. "What we’ve basically said is we don’t feel like we have to trade him today. We’re going to continue to look and explore opportunities. Actually, I don’t know if anything changed in my mind." This could be a public reaction to Howard reportedly reiterating his trade demand, but the bottom line remains the same: Eventually, the Magic will likely have no choice but to deal Howard, and it could still happen sooner rather than later.
