Bad move for Tampa if you ask me. I don't think anyone in this draft has the ceiling that Drouin does. in the right situation he could be a PPG player as soon as next year, IMO.

cesspool threw out Tanev and Canucks pick for Drouin

I might do Brodie and Flames first round draft pick for Drouin - Brodie is on a nice cap hit and provides way more offense than Tanev, Tanev is slightly better defensively.

Not only that but control, approaching his prime, etc.

He re-signed Stamkos. He re-signed Hedman. He has Kucherov in a laugher of a deal for another 2 years. He needs to win now. Why the hell would he want a rookie who, like you said, very well may not have the ceiling of Drouin?

Just to clarify, the Hurricanes have acquired the rights for Scott Darling (as he is a pending UFA).

Interesting, Darling would help the Carolina goalie situation a lot for sure.

Anaheim won their 1st game on the road last night, got to wonder if Washington will follow suit tonight.

Gotta think the Flames have to be one of those teams.

Holy moly

NHL Just announced the Hart finalists.
Crosby
McDavid
Bobrovsky

"Player adjudged to be most valuable to his team"

That would be awesome. Not gonna happen. But would be awesome.

Hey, Michelle we’ve got a race tonight, focus in. You don’t need to be a clown out there.’ And she will. She’s been a clown in the past, and we’ve seen her act like a clown. When she’s serious and focused, she’s one hell of a hurdler.”

Based on who provided the most value to the success of their team, my ballot reads

Bob
McJesus (as long as he wears the tshirt to the awards)
Sid

There is no doubt in my mind that Bob did the most for his team with the least help from his teammates/coach.

Jackets were 6th in goal scoring, 9th in shots, middle of the pack in shots against....

Bobrov was the best among them but replacement-level goaltending likely wouldn't have changed much in regards to where that team finished. Can't confuse playoff Jackets with regular season Jackets.

Mcdavid, Bobrovsky and Crosby is the order I'd have them in.
