To be fair, the guy is hono(u)ring his contract and making a huge sacrifice to make $6 million per year by playing a fun sport every day for a few hours.

After reconsideration, it seems like the guy who makes Nick Backstrom money putting up Nick Bonino numbers should shut his mouth and actually start believing the "I'm trying to get better" line he's putting out there.

Didn't even notice the Rielly on his offside thing. Seems like a bad idea to force your best young defender (arguably) onto his off wing to accommodate Ron Hainsey, but that's why they pay Babs the big bucks I guess.

I thought Hainsey would be fine as a 3rd pair guy. Shit, Hunwick and Polak weren't even 100% awful last year (and Polak was driving the Caps nuts before they crushed his leg).

But as a partner for Rielly, getting top minutes? Yeah, no thanks.
