In that case why isn't he bitching about how much QB's make ? They take less of a pounding than anyone..
My guess......it's a skill thing. Like I said, with WRs being franchised at $16M and RB's running AND catching passes, "I" think he has a legit argument.
That's a fair argument. A solid running game is more important to bad weather city teams than those in say Florida or domed teams.I'm not saying he isn't really good, I'm just saying that in today's NFL you don't need a big dollar feature RB to win. I think there are more really good players at the RB position than at any other position, so why overpay for something that is not only plentiful, but not really necessary to win SBs.
I think I would rather play on a good team for a little less money. It can't be any fun getting the shit kicked out of you physically and having no chance for team success.I'm curious if he would rather get paid what he wants and be on a non-playoff team or stick with Pittsburgh for what they are offering?
Sounds fairOK, pay him 8.5M per year = highest paid.
RB's coming off of a tag year have got to be among the worst investments in sports, dollar for dollar, these days. Future production ain't that sexy looking for Bell, imo.
I agree with you but some people would say that the extra money you make playing on a shitty team would compensate. I always assumed that if I ever made multi-millions like Bell, and extra few million would be expendable if it came down to what team I played on?That's a fair argument. A solid running game is more important to bad weather city teams than those in say Florida or domed teams.
