Basically the Warriors success hinged upon whether or not Kawahi Leonard and the Spurs were 100 percent. Thats not gonna happen now. Rockets showed they couldn't even beat the Warriors without Durant. Much less with him. The East is still TRASH like it always has been for the last decade

This was true last year. This year is going to be tougher. Have you noticed anything about the Rockets vs the Warriors during THIS regular season? Plus isn't Kawhi likely back for the playoffs?

Short version: you still know nothing about basketball

.... yea I noticed they couldn't even beat the Warriors without Durant :L

And great Leonard can come back for the playoffs. Doesn't mean he will be READY for the playoffs

Learn to read. This season the Rockets are 2-1 vs them WITH Durant.

Warriors have had elements of laziness this season. Wont happen in the playoffs anyways. Spurs and Pops were the only threat.

As a Warriors fan I agree, I too think they will win the title again this year. But it will be much harder than last year. You're wrong of course about threats, the Rockets are a different team this year that actually plays defense, the Spurs will have Kawhi for the playoffs, Cleveland may have revamped themselves into relevance, and Boston can be tough if they get Hayward back, with their defense.

Ws ain't going 16-1 this year. Perhaps 16-7?

Plus, weren't you posting earlier in the year that the Ws were significantly worse than last year? Yes, you were.

I don't know what the Spurs have as a healthy squad yet. If Gay and Kawhi can be 100% come playoff time, and they can learn to play off each other, they could be deadly as a squad. I'd like to think so, at least. Rudy had some really good games before he went down. Would like to think a starting 5 of Murray/Green/Gay/Kawhi/Aldridge would be tough to score against. Gay and Aldridge could be liabilities, but neither have been *terrible* defensively this season.

He has already proved in the past he knows nothing. Just about everything he says he is proven wrong

Nothing to see here folks.

Well, now that Rose isn't on the Cavs the whole East is trash. Let's not even have the Eastern playoffs and just crown the West.

I can't believe that I'm about to type these words, but...

I almost sort of agree with Dorian.

The Rockets look really good and they are 2-1 vs. the Warriors in the regular season. However, Harden and CP3 have a history of coming up small in the playoffs. Until they show they can step up and play like the stars they are supposed to be in the playoffs. I can't place any confidence in them.

OKC has arguably the most talent of any team not named the Warriors. But until I see Westbrook not completely ignore PG and Melo late in playoff games like he did KD...I can't buy into them either.

Until the Rockets and OKC show something different, there are only 2 real threats to the Warriors title chase.

Themselves and a healthy Spurs.

I could depend on the seeding. It looks like someone is going to get the Thunder in the first round. So Gs could have to play OKC, SA and Houston. That's a tough road just to get to Cleveland or Boston.

Regular season. Melo will tank the Thunder in the postseason, and the Rockets will do their usual exit earlier than expected (by most).

We'll see. Warriors lack of bench production can bite them in the ass in a 7 game series

It's just one guy, Iguodala. He needs to be better for the playoffs and maybe he's pacing himself. Rotations tighten up in the playoffs, he's the only 'bench' guy who is really important.

Like I said, this year won't be a cakewalk like last year. But they are still the favorites.

Yeah they're favorites for sure but this will be the 2nd time in 4 years where I won't be surprised if they don't make the finals
