If the Broncos lose Brock Osweiler, will they trade for Colin Kaepernick?

What a wacky world this off season has been. To think that the Super Bowl Champions are hoping to trade away picks for...Colin Kaepernick. The Super Bowl champs are grasping for a QB at the bottom of the barrel, with the likes of the Browns and Jets.

Defending Kaep the QB is defending the indefensible at this point... It's a hail mary move to acquire him.
I disagree. He's obviously got talent. He was a throw away from winning a Super Bowl and was another throw away from going back.

He certainly needs a lot of work, but I don't think he's completely a lost cause at this point.

2012: No one knew who he was and did not know how to game plan for him. Read option gimmick took the nfl by storm.
2013: people started to solve the riddle and he struggled against really good teams all year and our defense was just monstrous that year.
2014:People solved the riddle and he sucked and regressed greatly. Haurbaugh was the coach so he has no excuses for his performance.
2015:do i even need to describe how bad it was. Blaine Gabbert, Blaine fucking Gabbert.

I just can't believe that the Broncos consider these options ahead of Zach Mettenberger. I really can't. The dude is smart, tough, determined and has an Elway-esque cannon.

I'll tell you what, I'll back whatever John Elway has in mind for this team.
