Well there was chatter up until a couple days ago that he was going to get $12M/yr in free agency. $8M is more in line with what he's likely worth, I thought it was a good signing for them.

They did get a better deal. It's true. But that much for a #3 WR....eh.

FA is about trying to make the best use out of what the player will cost. Balancing. With that in mind I actually do lean towards Britt more than the rest. Pryor might (or might not) be overvalued. Jeffrey is. The injury and PED worries do that for me....though his ability to snag a 50-50 ball is very appealing.

Balancing need to improve the position vs cap gambling leads me to Britt at this point. He had 1000 yards last year. In that offense! I wasn't even sure either of the rams qbs had 1000 yards passing, much less a WR topping it.

Interesting to see report the eagles are even open to trading Jordan....nothing is off the table!

From the tweet and reports it is a def possibility that Pryor and Jeffrey dont get nearly what they thought .. Pryor, reportedly, turned down at $12mm offer from the Browns -- yes I know its the Browns. But $12mm for 1 year at a new position on a bad team that had to throw to stay in games.

The Pats just paid 15 million for the top corner on the market and they are worried Butler might go to the Dolphins. This helps them two ways.

You can't trade your best edge rusher ... that would kind of nullify any upgrade at another position
