Get ready for Howie to sign his blue-light specials, under the radar names, younger guys, some aging vets etc. I could see a guy like Djack for a fraction of what Stills is asking.

I think DJAX will want at least 8-10M.

I think we took character risks in last years draft because of the hefty price we paid for Wentz. But a year later our draft capital is restored in large part to the Bradford gift. I don't think we will be taking character risks as much moving forward because we won't need to.

Josh Gordon is a no brainer if he's available. Only guy that comes in here and is a legit #1 week 1. Changes the look of the entire offense.

Here is my opinion of what I would like to happen.
FA- get Terrelle Pryor and maybe D Jackson (with the available cap space)
1st rounder- BPA prefer CB or maybe a solid pass rusher
2nd- CB (Conley if he is on the board?)
3rd- RB or WR
4th-BPA and so forth.

I agree, except that I doubt we sign 2 stud WRs, due to the lack of cap room, and we still need to sign a vet CB, besides a WR.

I doubt we will get any of the top tier free agent WR. Cap space is severely limiting us, and many teams will over pay for the position this off season.

Maybe not having a ton of cap space this year will be a blessing in disguise, it means we (hopefully) won't overpay for any of the "top" guys available. I'm not a fan of paying Jeffery, Stills, Gilmore, Bouye, etc. more than $12M/yr, forget that.

Free Agency is just an overspending bonanza ... there are decent deals out there, but paying #1 money to a #2 just because it's expected, is not a smart move. Stick to snagging backup guys with talent who just haven't gotten a shot because they play behind good players.

Wouldn't mind being the team that pays for Pryor. This offense is devoid of weapons. Our best player is Ryan Mathews and then a 40 yo Darren Sproles.

Yup, Marshall released. Very old and nothing more than a rental now. I would pass.

Marshall is probably done. He went into last season with a hip problem. He's always been a hard worker though. It wouldn't hurt to give Wentz some size outside to throw to either. And any veteran would only benefit the QB and the other WRs. There is no experience in that passing room.

I still say Bouye is the only FA I would spend significant money on.

I think DJAX will want at least 8-10M.

I thought it was reported he was around 14-16 mil on a 2 year deal (ie, 7-8 mil a year).

I'm thinking Mike Williams in the draft; Djackson in FA. WR is done.

Focus on OL/CB in the 2nd, 3rd and a RB in FA with another in the 4th.

That builds your OL and WR this year with depth at CB

Then next year we look at CB and RB and we are ready to become a serious contender

Objective this year - solidify your OL and let Wentz begin to build chemistry with solid WR's. Get the offense moving.

Objective next year - defense defense defense and the missing piece on offense (rb)

No to Brandon Marshall. Not at this late point in his career, and not with Wentz having to deal with Marshall's issues of BPD. If he was the missing piece - yes. But rebuilding right now? No thanks.

SAQUON BARKLEY.

for 2018 draft?? Sounds good to me. sproles on his way out, and him in. I'm all in for RB in 2018, if we solidify OL and WR this year.

Glad yu agree. We can't get everything we need in one draft. If we get another solid RB or two, and get us good production - next year is when we could make some moves and trade up to get Barkley next year. He will be a top 5 pick, for sure. Same size as Elliott, but even faster - 4.3 forty!! You kidding me??

Jason Kelce likely staying at Center and Isaac Seumalo possibly taking over at LG. Seumalo in for Barbe seems like the one shake-up on the OL. Lane Johnson in for a full season alone will be an improvement on that line. Seumalo was impressive as a rookie and should upgrade LG in his 2nd season.
