If Crayton could learn how to catch a football, then his comments would be accepted by more. While the IDIOTS want to blame Romo for our playoff loss against NYG. It was in FACT Crayton who dropped a wide open slant pass with nobody within 10 yards of him.......

Thanks a lot Mr. Buttersworth

Crayton was always a big mouth when he was here. I guess I kind of agree with him though. Could Sam be the next Dumerville. He has very long arms for his height so him being succesfull as a DE is possible. As soon as I found out I decided I did not want Sam. Valley Ranch is already a circus and Sam would me a major distraction. When I think of the Cowboys I think of cheerleaders not a gay person.

To have your opinion on an anonymous message board is fine. My point was that to be a professional athlete and say it publicly and the way he said it is pretty stupid. IMO if the guy could get to the QB and he drops to around the 5th or 6th round, you grab him and don't worry about the other crap. Even if he is a 3rd down specialist it's more than worth it.

By the way, the other day you asked about bringing back Brent. So you are OK with bringing a guy into the locker room that was responsible for the death of one of his teammates, but not a gay guy?

A few years ago I'd have been against Sam. Today I don't care one way or the other. If the guy is a football player who can help the team win he's ok in my book. However I will not stand on a soapbox deriding those who are against him.

We most likely had this conversation at espn and I assume I'm one of the idiots BUT, I still maintain Romo had his role along with the defense that day. I still can't put football games on one person and two plays.

crayton was a pud puller at Desota High School BUT no question he grew legs when owens came to town. Ran his ass right outta football too.

I don't agree with the way Crayton said it, but I am sick of hearing about it. I personally don't agree with the gay lifestyle. With that said, I don't care if the guy is tri sexual as long as he can sack the QB. Sam being gay doesn't have a thing to do with football, IMO shut up and play.

Exactly. Besides the fact that even if the percentage of men in the country that are gay is 2%, on teams with 53 players, every team in the NFL probably has a gay player already. Who cares

Yeah. Romo had a role and so did everyone else. To blame one play that Crayton should have made is way off base, but we've fought this fight aganst the "Romo can do no wrong crew" for years. For the record, one thing I do not hold against Romo that many seem to in that game was the Int to end it. That is the exact time you do take a chance and just throw it up for grabs and hope for the best. Worst case scenario would have been taking a sack. If I remember correctly, Barber had 100 yards at the half and almost nothing in the 2nd half. That game was one of the only games I can recall where the Offense ran all over the defense and instead of tiring out the DL, the OL got tired and was totally drained in the 2nd half. It totally goes against Football 101. But, with those Fat SOBs we had on that line, I guess that's what you get...I also remember some horrible calls by the refs - the Ware offsides that led to a Toomer TD, the grounding call against Romo, the hold on Davis (I think) where he jumped on his guy after going down like every HS Football coach tells his OL. Oh well, another one we should have won that we gave away...

agree jarntt. To me the biggest play was missing owens on a 3rd qtr crossing route for 6 and we settled for 3. Huge play.

Total Group Effort that year. That team was 13-3 and full of themselves. For me, 2009 was the worst season being a cowboy fan than any in resent memory.

No doubt. Wasn't that the year (or at least the group) when all we heard about was who made the Pro Bowl and who was upset they didn't? I remember our defensive "leader" Bradie talking non-stop about how important the Pro Bowl was...

I agree with this......The thing I don't understand is why the Gay community has the need to come out before the world. I don't ever remember broadcasting to the world hey everybody i'm straight! I don't agree with it, but we all have free will. This is a private matter and should remain private. I don't need to see anyone's over the top public display of affection rather it's a man with his tongue down a womens throat or two men rubbing the stubble on their faces across each other. If same is there in the 4th round and his measurable add up Jerry should draft the guy.

I personally think he announced this because he knew it would get him publicity. Seriously, how many people had him on there must draft radar before this? He is ranked 12th at his position, I think he could be a good player and his sexuality has nothing to do with it.

absolutely WHY He came out.

Media attention to increase his draft stock.

He was a 4th or 5th rounder at best .... ALL of his college production came in the 1st half of the 2013 college season. Nothing before that ..... Shut down after that ( Check the stats)

Now some team will draft him higher .... Just to sell Jerseys ..... and say we did it first .....

Somethings just are what they are .... and his agent may have just got him a better pay day
