Bullying or just football?

So I am always curious of what others think about this.....I come from the school of thought that no one owes you anything, if you want something you work harder to get it...one reason I joined the USMC.

When I was in 9th grade my team in a three week period was outscored 180-6, by the time we were seniors we went undefeated. Sometimes losing builds character, seems our society is getting away from that.

I am so sick of people crying. There is no way ANY football score is bullying, 7-6 or 100-0, it is a damn game, a TEAM game, no single person is singled out to be bullied. Suck it up, people, if you do not want your team to lose bad, hit the weight room, hit the sled, run some laps. There is no better motivation to get better than receiving an ass kicking, whoever filed that complaint should have their head examined. Maybe, just maybe, because of that big loss, that jackass' son will learn to try harder in life, to strive to do his best, to work hard toward his goals.

Like Jonvi said the saddest thing about this is that some legal resources are going to be used to investigate.

As a parent of three kids... all teenagers now... I support the bullying issue. Today's world, these tech savvy kids will put stuff on the social media of choice... and, it can really hurt a kid. I am all for stopping that sort of activity.

But, I think it has gone too far. I have had the school principal call our home because my daughter got into a disagreement with another girl, and the girls parents called the school to cite my daughter for bullying. Really? Kids are not allowed to work things out anymore?

I am sure all of us remember our childhood bully. But... no one was killing themselves over the stuff that was said back then. I guess that opens up another issue for me. Kids killing themselves over being bullied.

I am not sure how we got here. Among other things I am not sure about. Like why are autism rates so high...

Simple solution to bullying ....smile be real nice and as soon as you get within arms reach yell ''Look somebody dropped a $100 bill" then sucker punch the bully with everything you got. That will stop the bullying or least he won't be looking down on the ground anymore lol

With BB on this one. Bullying is a very real problem and has gotten out of hand in many instances. I heard a story about a teenage girl who recently killed herself due to bullying. The girls weren't satisfied bullying her at school. When she transferred to a new school they continued to stalk and bully her. THAT is bullying.

The football score is NOT bullying. Maybe had they left in their starters to run up the score, but that's not even the case. They went really deep into the bench to try and keep it from getting so bad. What do you do when your 3rd string can't be stopped? Were they supposed to go out, take a knee 3 times and punt? No, people need to get thicker skin.

Not bullying in this case. He pulled his starters early and called just run plays. Might want to look into the school's recruiting practices, though. They're beating everyone by at least 50. There's no way that much football talent just happened to go to that school.

OR really puss out and quit keeping score like they do in little league baseball............like the kids don't know the score
