Chiefs NEED about 3 starters on defense and they trade one away for future picks. They'll be lucky to get a 2019 or a 2020 starter from this.

Travis Kelce has gotten into altercations with coaches and trashed them. This doesn’t work.

The normal routine would've been to keep him 1yr, maybe a 2nd year after a tag.

The Chiefs are just dumping him like they did Keivare Russell.

Peters is a talent but there must have been things said around the league to scare other teams away. The 49ers were the only other team interested because of their big need at corner but I read today their interest was lukewarm and they never made an offer. With Foster's issues that came up, they couldn't afford any more issues.

Like perhaps the fact he got kicked off his college team, then pissed off his pro team? His head case issues are no secret. KC took him in the first round anyway because he is such a talented guy, but clearly, even a players' coach like Andy Reid ran out of patience.

It took three days, but we finally know what the Chiefs are getting in exchange for their (former) 25-year-old No. 1 corner. The Chiefs are also sending a sixth-rounder L.A.'s way
