The Chiefs picked Dee Ford on a 1 year deal basically over Quinn it looks like... welp

And if I am reading this right, the Chiefs said no, not the other way around, lol

I wouldn't be shocked if they June 1st'ed Suh or cleared Wake for a younger player.

i've been locked out of my regular account for a few weeks so i haven't been able to comment on this.

the chiefs contacted all 31 NFL teams to field offers on Peters. Only 2 offered anything (the Rams and 49ers).

The league knows Peters is a huge cancer. He gets into fights (literally fist fights) with coaches. He's done it in college and also with the Chiefs.

The Chiefs had no choice and they're lucky they got anything for the guy. I wouldn't have surprised if they would have had to outright release him and got nothing.

Peters has been mostly injured. However, if he plays like himself down the stretch and helps LA's secondary get straight. Ultimately doing well in the post-season... that's still a solid trade.

Orlando Sandrick is above average on PFF, Derrick Nnadi is above average on PFF, Breeland Speaks is average on PFF.

Investing in Sammy Watkins (Good on PFF) instead of someone like Peters has pushed the offense over the edge this year.

Its actually quite difficult to complain about this as a Chiefs fan.

eh, he suffered that calf strain 6 weeks ago. i'm not sure that would still have been effecting his play the last couple of weeks and Peters himself just said again on Sunday that his poor play has nothing to do with any injury.

Wade is making him play too much press for my liking. He runs like a 4.6... He's not a CB who is outrunning the better WR's in the NFL. He's an Off-man CB through and through.

yes, every cornerback gives up pass plays ... it's the nature of the beast .... and every player can go through slumps ... Peters has had a bad couple of weeks but doesn't all of the sudden suck at football

The Rams ought to be concerned about their defense. Preseason everyone was expecting their defense to be better than this. They still have eight games to figure it out. If their defense played like people thought it was going to be no one could stop them. But if the season plays out like this it is going to be competitive with teams like the saints

this first loss may force them to change some things on defense .... either scheming or rotations or something because they definitely aren't playing up to what everyone thought their talent level was ....

if they do get better on defense ... even average ... they will be hard for anyone to beat in January
