Word. I'd take no joy in eliminating Black Sabbath from history.

But if it came down to that or Talking Heads, well..

So, I bought one of his art books and he signed it, but I also smuggled this bad boy in. After he signed the art book and we chatted for a minute, I pulled the set out and handed it to him. He let out a coy smile, looked around and then drew a tattoo on the baby's arm... A heart with an arrow through it and the initials D.B. in the middle. Hell of a coffee table book/conversation piece now. I love it.

Hah! That's awesome...
Have you listened to any of his solo stuff? I love this tune:

Not as much as the group stuff, but that's a nice one

This one is fucking awesome.

My favorite from them. "This Must Be The Place" may be a better love song than "God Only Knows" (only half-joking)

What I find most of all intriguing about Talking Heads is, above and beyond all other bands, you hear one of their songs and think "Eh, it's ok. Kinda weird though." Then you give it a day to simmer on the pan that is your brain, and a day later you go back and listen to the same song and are all like "Fuck yeah! David Byrne is a fucking music genius!"

I like some Black Sabbath, and I assume I'm in the minority here, but if I had to pick one band to erase from history, them or Talking Heads, people would be wandering around saying, "but, slinky..."

A few weeks ago I recorded the "very last" Sabbath concert from around 2015??

2 songs only. Iron Man and Paranoid. The rest are noise.

I recall in 1974 at UBC late one night my friend pumping a juke box full of quarters and playing Iron Man 20 times in a row. OR trying to anyway. Campus security showed up after 6 times and unplugged the unit.

So the answer is either Queen or the Eagles.

That narrows it down.

Those would probably be the 2 most successful ones. I have 1 album by each, the Eagles Greatest Hits and I don't even know which one by Queen..maybe A Day at The Races. It was a birthday present from someone not very familiar with my musical tastes. The list of 70s group I like better than those 2 is a very long one.

Also, I think we need a ruling. A lot of groups posted so far actually were originally formed in the 60s.

That's it exactly.
