Definitely a great band. Too bad they didn't last a few more years.
I'd put Journey, Boston & KISS in there, too. And, T. Rex! I think they debuted in the 70s.

Weird, I was listening to "The Big Country" when I saw your notification for this thread.

I've got work tomorrow at 10 AM, so I'll pass on it for tonight, but I'll give it a listen tomorrow for sure on my bus ride back from my haircut (sadly, I won't be drunk though).
