I just saw on the ticker on NFL Network that Brandon Browner is facing another PED suspension. It would be for 8 games this time. This is no longer getting ridiculous, it IS ridiculous. What the hell?!

The report I read said he denied it, which is interesting... It read like he denied that a suspension would be handed down (and, presumably, also denied the use of PED's).

Brandon Browner denies report he faces another PED suspension | ProFootballTalk

He's denying it now which means someone is about to have their foot firmly planted in their mouths.

All I've got to say is if it's true than wow that's a terrible look for the team considering all the noise it got for Irvin and to have another case along with it being a repeat offender you'll never hear the end of Seadderall Seahawks.

It would also make me wonder if the league will come down on the team as well considering the amount of suspensions in a short time frame.

Crap? What is the big deal?

Browner's not coming back in '14, anyway.

He's slow and a pass interference penalty waiting to happen and
everytime a pass heads his direction, I'm more surprised when
a flag isn't thrown than when a flag is tossed.

We have a great secondary w/out Browner.

Spoke to a source with knowledge of Brandon Browner's status who said he did not have another positive test for PEDs ...

This would be a circus either way. Bad for Silver who initially reported this if false. Bad for Browner if true.

Also, Browner stated he did not test positive for PED, though he may be suspended for something else, like non-PED related aka similar to Walter Thurmond. Someone jumped the gun here.

I think it's a big deal because it's a distraction that we don't need.

He takes a lot of penalties. That's true. He also hits and tackles well and he is a master at stripping the ball. He's also been pretty good at picking the ball off. I would say he's the weakest link in the LOB but he's still a very good corner.

Not only Crap to that, but also Crap to the fact this will further tarnish the secondary's image. Even though Browner has tweeted that he isn't facing a suspension for ped's and he finds it "sad" that the nfl is reporting this story, it still looks and smells bad.

Time will tell if he's telling the truth I guess.

Even if it's true, he'll appeal the decision until January sometime and by the time
it takes effect, it's 2014 and he's playing for the 9er's.

Big deal, we have a distraction.

Remember last year when he was suspended and we had a distraction?
At the same time Sherman was going through a distraction?

4-0, no sweat. Overblown....

I agree he tackles well and goes for the strip but all in all, I don't like when QB's target his side on any pass farther than 15 yds. Browner gets juked on a stop and go or an out and up. What happens?

Pass interference, #39, defense.

With P.I. penalties up 63%, we need to replace BB anyway. Not worried at all and you shouldn't be either.

Bigger expectations this year.

Really? How so?

I went down to Fed Ex to bring home a winner last January because we
had a SB winning team. Losing CC was the difference in Atlanta along
with FB dives on 4th down. I still believe we were the best team in
the NFL last season because RWill gained exp and we were hot.

My expectations this year are no different than my last year expectations.

RWill hoisting the Lombardi.

ESPN now report he's being suspended for 1 year and he's now appealing.

Hopefully, Winfield is on speed dial and he's doing sprints as we type.

Lane and Maxwell to rcb, Winfield to the slot and we'll be just fine.

Not worried one iota....

As long as we keep RWill upright, we're cool. Percy on O will cover
any db concerns.

At one point Sunday a deal between Winfield and SEA seemed imminent but he remains at home mulling his options with his family. Stay tuned

It looked like Marcus Trufant was also brought in for a workout today.

Browner is being suspended for drug use, not PED's and his appeal was already heard.

He is no longer a Seahawk. Wave bye bye.

This is the expectations among the players. Apparently, they knew what is going on with Browner.

Silver reports that the topic has already been brought up in a recent team meeting. Center Max Unger and cornerback Richard Sherman addressed their teammates. The message: We're going to the Super Bowl. If any of you want to do this stuff, go ahead. You won't be coming with us.
