Game Thread: 49ers vs Tampa Bay

Well Guys its going to be a long season. This is 1 game I think we can win. Winston is having a tough year and Tampa doesnt have much talent. Yes Evans might give us fits but in my opinion stop the run and hope our secondary can hold their own. We need to stop the run.

This is a Winnable game. Will we win, well that is another question.

I would like to see big improvement from the D and hopefully the offense can build on last week. Need to run the ball better.

So they are saying we will see Hodges more at MLB. Why hasnt he been playing from the start. We all saw last year he was better then Wihoite. No surprise Wilhoite is ranked in last at MLB this year so far. He finished 2nd to last last year. Wilhoite should be off this team. The guy cant play, now comes another MLB Bellore and he is worse then Wilhoite.

Can the 49ers just trade for a MLB. Do something.

Hodges and Skov. Wilhoite awful last year. They could have found someone better. Bellore is awful too.

Yes thats what I dont get. How is he still on this team. Also u saw GB just make a trade for a need back up RB. Baalke go get a decent MLB. Someone that is a back up but has potential to start. Go get him. Help this team a little.

who would you give up in a trade? If you want a good MLB, the other team will want somebody good too. since you'd be the one pushing for it, you'll likely have to give up more in a trade.

they can go out and sign a FA, but he isn't going to be a starter level guy. Those guys are already on an NFL team. So it that is what you want, fine, but also understand he'll need time to learn our scheme. He'll need time to know the players around him.

Im not saying a good MLB, serviceable. I don't even know if someone is out there but u hope our Front office would be looking into it. Maybe trade with Cleveland for one of their MLBs. they should know the system. Offer a 6th or 7th rd pick for one of them.

Ok so what do you guys think about this week. i do think we can win this game. TB has Jackson and marting out for this game. Winston hasnt been good this year. We need to stop Evans and contain the running game.

Im a little excited about this game. Hopefully the offense can grow and continue to look better. Last week was fun to watch. D needs to step up. This one we can have. Secondary should be better with Ward and Robinson playing. Offense will be hurting with out Hyde and now maybe Smith. Its shocking how we have like no weapons on offense.

After seeing the first month and a half of action, I don't see how anybody could think SF will win this game. If this match is played straight up, the Niners might win 1 of 10 against TB. I believe SF have to rely on turnovers to have a chance, and if you rely on turnovers, you're probably not a good team....

....and the 49ers are a terrible, terrible team.
