Hopefully they still draft a decent stud on day 1 or 2, and let Pollard walk after his franchise season.

Dude is not a between the tackles- 20 carry a game guy, and given MM's public admittance of wanting to "run the damn ball", Pollard is not your guy. On top of that, he's a liability in pass pro.

Panthers signed RB Miles Sanders, formerly of the Eagles, to a four-year contract.​

Sanders, 26 in May, will reunite with former Eagles coach Duce Staley in Carolina after four seasons in Philadelphia. Sanders in 2022 broke out to the tune of 1,268 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns in the high-octane Eagles offense, operating strictly as a rush with almost no involvement in the passing attack. Sanders has been consistently efficient during his NFL career: Among running backs with at least 400 carries since 2019, Sanders ranks first in EPA per rush, according to ESPN's Mike Clay. With D'Ontae Foreman an unrestricted free agent, Sanders will likely slide into lead back duties while Chuba Hubbard remains the team's RB2. If Sanders gets a bump in passing down snaps, he could be a top-end fantasy option in 2023.

Saints signed Jamaal Williams, formerly of the Lions, to a three-year, $12 million contract.​

Williams only managed a two-year deal when he signed on the dotted line in Detroit in 2020, but racking up 17 touchdowns in a single season tends to draw the eyes and checkbooks of general managers. He totaled 1,066 yards on 262 carries in his second season with the Lions. Williams is likely being brought in as the ideal replacement for Mark Ingram's role in the offense. Well over 30 years old, Ingram wasn't capable of taking the bulk of the body blows off Alvin Kamara's plate over the past two seasons. This forced the Saints to give Kamara a career-high in carries in 2021 and the second-most carries of his career last year. Now they have a true backfield duo once again. Williams could also be in for a larger role if Kamara is ultimately suspended because of an incident in Las Vegas last year. His deal includes $8 million in guaranteed money.

Now, I'm not saying, but I'm just sayin'...
Last time Bill O'Brian was OC in New England, Gronk and Hernandez caught 170 balls, for 2200 yards and 24 TD's.
Obviously Squishy Mac ain't Brady, and Hunter Henry/Geisiki ain't Gronk/Hernandez.
However...you can put 2 and 2 together and see the direction they're trying to go.

Btw- the RB'S - a garbage collection/MASH unit of BJGE, Vareen, Ridley, and Woodhead, rushed for 1400 and 15.
