Since Britton is expected to be out for quite a while, is it time to consider trading Kim for a pitcher?

If Buck isn't going to play Kim minus well trade him. Wouldn't be a bad idea at all. Like Ted said we have Bourne that could come up.

Jimenez isn't pitching bad knock on wood. He can pitch against NL teams and gets lit up by AL teams.

If it were up to me, I would err on the conservative side and put in a reliever at the beginning of the 8th inning. (After all, it was a tie game, and the Yankees are behind... at this rate, it could take a while before the Orioles get another chance to retake the AL East.)

That'd be for the best I think since he'd be a guy with the best trade value I believe. Never understood why this team carries all of these outfielders and don't play 3 of them on a regular basis (Kim, Smith and Gentry).

I probably would've let him start the inning but when he let the first guy on, that's when I would've taken him out of the game.

smith is .208 avg vs lhp over 3 year span . gentry and rickard are great outfieldlers for D replacement and speed . kim is a slap hitter . boom boom is a boomer . will win more games and get better with life

My problem isn't with Trey (I hate that nickname of his) as I understand his value since he can play numerous positions.
At least Kim when he plays regularly can get on base at a solid rate. I don't care how it is he gets on base, he gets on base and that's what matters most. Gentry is just an outfield version of Flaherty, so he can be shown the door for all I care. Would've left Rickard down in Norfolk as well.
