God Mangus has some long strides. He is good at finding the holes and flying through them. When a guy has a 7 minute highlight reel of only touchdowns, you have to be impressed.

Harris is faster than I expected. He reminds me of Ryan Williams in that he has great vision and is good at cutting back. He also has the same "look" in his rivals picture.

JC is so elusive and is fast just like the rest of the guys. Plus, he is everything you can ask for in a recruit.

Overall, I'm very excited about the potential of these three guys. There is no doubt in my mind that they can all contribute.

Havent watched the Harris clips yet but Mangus was so fluid in everything. He is quick near the line. Shifty but decisive. Good vision and deceptively fast with those real long strides. I am very excited about him.
One note is he has some massive holes to run through in most of those clips. His vision was in the cutback lanes in the secondary. It will be interesting if that translates into reading his OL blocks when the holes aren't there immediately.

:D

With these three, Gregory and Holmes... I think we're going to be ok if DW bolts.

Surprised nobody has posted this yet:

#Hokies '12 commit Trey Edmunds, a RB/LB from Dan River HS in Ringgold, named to 49th annual Parade Magazine All-America HS Football team

Some have asked: last VT player to be named Parade All-American was Tyrod Taylor in 2007. Made it as an all-purpose player. #Hokies

FYI: Only 53 high school players are selected to the Parade All-American Team every year.

Makes you wonder why Edmunds wasn't evaluated as a 5-star on a certain recruiting website, doesn't it?

Interesting that Edmunds, Alex Carter and a kicker were the only players from the the state of Virginia. Bitter Blog says Darren Evans was the last Hokie named Parade All-American. What criteria does Parade use to create this list?

Parade has been producing their All-American team since 1963. Quite a few have become Heisman Trophy winners. Here's a slide show of 54 of their selections:

Maybe Colorado. Wish him the best. He's a nice guy and has all the talent in the world, just look at his offers. Worry he lacks guidance though as evidence by his grades and his "feeling wanted" mentality. I think he could have thrived here, but nothing you can do about it now.
