By far for TTU, it has to be Jonathan Giles. He was seen as a good receiver for the team, but through 5 games now he has 614 yards, with 7 TDs, and averaging 18 yards per catch. This is on a team that throws to at least 10 receivers every game.

I think Kelly ends up back in CFB at a big school (like USC or Texas), but not next year. Maybe 2018 at the earliest?

Oh, he is much better than Webb (including size, arm strength, accuracy, leadership ability, and football IQ - though this one, I think he and Webb might be on the same level). There is a reason why Webb was the backup.

Just to respond to that tweet. Browning has 26 TDs total. Lamar Jackson has 28. Patrick Mahomes has 27. And both Mahomes and Jackson have played one less game. I am not talking about Heisman...Browning should definitely be up there with Jackson. I am only arguing against the #1 in TDs...

No. He is locked in until 2020. He is 3.5 mil this year, 3.7 next, 3.9 in 2019, and 4.1 in 2020. I don't think a buyout is an option for Tech. He will be here until 2020, at least. Though I do want a better coach, someone who is ready, I am not willing to throw in the towel on him yet...

I think a better determinate of defense is Yards Per Play. You can't use Points Per Game if a team is running 85-90 plays a game, versus a team running 50-60 plays a game. Obviously the more plays you run, the quicker you score, the more time and opportunity the other team has to score. With...

We had 6 or 7 regular TTU posters on the Rivals board. Not sure if everyone will make it over. Mahomes is listed as day-to-day, but my supposition is that he will not play this week.

Right now, sure. The way I see it, in a couple of years, when most people outside of Waco forget about this, he will land at a smaller P5 school and then work his way back to success.
