SPURS just played poorly in the backcourt matchup.
They have the best frontcourt in basketball AND a below average backcourt.

but they cannot lose the backcourt this awful. It has to at least be a C+ showing.

All of their losses recently have been where the other teams backcourt dominated (Portland, oKc, etc)
The Blazers did it even worse I think outscoring them by 60 in the backcourt.

35 year old Parker can not defend the pick-n-roll that well anymore at an advanced age.
So, unless he can give 10-15 points, it will be tough to win.
Tonight he scored nothing to offset his lack of PNR defense.

I dont mind playing him, but he has to score more than Zero.
Otherwise the defensive lacking will hurt the team.

THat is why Derrick Rose/Chris Paul really makes sense to finish the makeover.

Either way I don't see anybody stopped GSW. I might watch some of the other playoff series' but not theirs....don't feel like watching them win it all again.

SPURS point guards have been outscored 107-23 in their last 4 losses
It is pretty obvious what is the achilles heel for SA lately.

If the backcourt plays semi-decent, they win. It is not great talent, but they need something.
If the backcourt is not engaged, they cannot win.

They dominate up front. They did it again tonight.....although David West helped lessen the domination.
They just need something besides a fucking zero from the PG position
