Time to evaluate the Clippers/Thunder remaining schedule as they both have 31 losses. The difference between playing Utah and Houston. I know I would want to play Utah.

The way Cleveland's playing they just may wind up as the 3 seed.

I doubt it. Tiebreakers is in their favor and their schedule is extremely weak. Still expect them to be the top seed actually and Washington schedule is sick. They're currently on a West Coast trip where they're playing 3 of the top 5 seeds out West.

Kyrie's 24 years old and Lebron's 32. Why do they need so much rest? I would think getting your defense right would be a higher priority.
i think that both those guys have played a lot higher minutes than the Cavs would have liked due to the injuries the Cavs have had this year.

And i mean- to a certain extent you are right---- why do tehy need "so much" rest?- i guess the answer to that is I think one of the major advantages the Cavs had against the Warriors was that the Cavs were a lot fresher once they got to the Finals. I think that will apply to the East this season as well- because the East isnt as bad as it has been in the passed.

I mean- there is no debate- rest is beneficial to the players. The Cavs are also in the situation where they have 9 games left- most teams have 7--- they are playing 6 games in 10 days at one point. I mean- whatever- but youd rather not wear these guys down right before the playoffs start.

I don't see anyone beating them in a 7 game series.

Likewise. If they're healthy then there is no way they are losing to any team 4 of 7. For them to start playing this well without KD after they were struggling at first is beyond scary.

not too many teams that'll push the Dubs to SIX games imo when they get KD back...

But will they have to go through another adjustment period when he comes back?

It seems like the only issue they've had at all has been adjusting with him and then without him.

Well they're aiming to have him back for the final 3 games so let's see how that goes. Much better than having his first game be round 1 of the playoffs.

meh, they did his "integration" when the season started. i have no reason to think it'll be all that rough for him getting back into the grind again...

Maybe so but things change when you add a main guy back to the fold. I don't see them losing either but it mess with their chemistry a bit, who knows.
