Well, in fairness, didn't we just have a discussion a few weeks ago about how many games the Cavs will lose before reaching the Finals?

If I remember correctly, you asked over or under 5 games and I guessed 5 games exactly.

That wouldn't be my answer today. It would be over.

But, the Cavs would still go to the Finals.

My guess is if James were gone, Kyrie would bolt (as was expected before James came), and even if he stayed nobody who wasn't being overpaid would care about going there to play with him.

looking at the standings today they'd play the Heat in the first round. that one goes 6, possibly 7 if they get Waiters back 100%...

Hawks are now 3 games ahead of the 9th/10th seeds, weird to think they could miss the playoffs. I don't expect the Bulls or Pistons to be good enough down the stretch to take over that spot, but Atlanta could still fall to 8th.
