For me an easy solution to the resting thing is no rest games allowed on the road. Get your rest games at home. Any player sitting out of a road game must be on the injury report.

90% of the crowd at a home game cares more about their team's health and success over the long haul than they do about seeing a particular player in 1 game. Even for those 10% that are just there to see a star player, they have 40 other games they can try again with.

Thing is, teams can get around this and say a player tweaked their hamstring or has a sore ankle.

We should also ignore that Bojan was a +13 last night.

Also Wall and Beal played like trash last night. Does it all of sudden means they can't perform against good teams?

Dude is so full of shit.

I'm guessing Lebron and Kyrie never had a poor game against a good team. His logic is so stupid. Bad shooting games happens.

Bojan also went 0-5 from 3 against the Kings. Does that means all of sudden he can't perform against bad teams either.

I'm not even going to get into this argument. I've seen Bojan in a couple of games with the Wiz now since you've been raving about him - dude's a solid player.

Wiggy's like Skip Bayless - once he doesn't like a player he'll be quick to point out every low moment a player has. He'll even double down on stupid if need be just so he doesn't have to admit he's wrong.

I just thought it was ironic that a Lakers fan who's supposed greatest player retired because of HIV and hes calling other players fags!

:wtf2:...There simply aren't enough of these for this dumbass comment. :L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L:L

yah

and when these other "stars" have played into June for 6 straight years they can begin calling out LeBron.

the league bitching about LeBron costing them money is the dumbest fucking thing i have ever heard. The league should get down on their knees and beg for The King's forgiveness and be glad he doesnt sit out more games. lol.

no one in the league has done more for league coffers then The King. If they get upset about a game in March- when everyone i s watching the Tourney anyway- they can simply go fuck themselves in my opinion.

plus- the league is so short sighted they dont see the benefit of LeBron resting. Woudlnt you rather have LeBron rest and be avaliable for the vast majority of the season then risk a career altering injury- like Kobe had from red-lining it? Imagine if LeBron was out for a whole YEAR with a serious injury-- then the league would REALLY have reason to cry and whine.

in the words of Ben Franklin--- An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

So much wrong here.

Yea exactly. There is really no way around the resting thing. I think the best thing to do is to stop charging the fans much more money to see the top teams since these guys are resting so frequently. At least if you do that then the fans won't feel as cheated.

If I'm paying the same money to see the Nets play Sixers that I'm paying to see them play the Cavs then I'm not all that upset if the Cavs players are resting.

Jordan also made the league shit ton's of money, and his salary compared to his contemporaries was modest as he was making nowhere near his true value. He didn't make what he was supposed to until about the last two years of his career with the Bulls. I don't recall Jordan having to constantly rest and I could've sworn that he's played in a Finals or two.

Getting on your knees to gravel to Lebron. Now I'm convinced Wiggy's Dan Gilbert.

just dont nationally televise games on the 2nd night of road-back to backs. That would prob cut out at least 50% of the problem. Combine that with lengthening the schedule by a week like they are already doing next year- and thats fine.

Plus- and i get the argument- you want to see LeBron when he comes to your city- but dont you have enough pride in your team to actually want to win the game instead of see LeBron shit on your team?

I mean- if i am a team struggling for a playoff spot- and im a fan of that team- woudlnt i value my team winning over having the privilege of watching LeBron beat the shit out of them?---- I understand wanting to see LeBron- but its not like having him sit out is 100% detrimental to the home team here.

you think the Clips werent a little happy that they got an easy win at a time when they are struggling for seeding?

I didn't read your comment. But there's no doubt LeBron takes advantage of this rule more than others. And that's wrong. By the way...nice dumbass comment about Magic (#20546). I don't even like LeBron & he's made a complete jackass out of himself many times during his career. And while I've never liked the Lakers Magic was a class act on the court & I always loved watching him play. That dumbass comment of yours was way outta line.

I mean its true though

you dont think its a LITTLE hypocritical to call lebron out for costing the league money- when Lebron is making probably LESS than half of what he would in a free market--- and he has made them hundreds of millions of dollars-f it not BILLIONS of dollars?

like i said- if anything the league should embrace LeBron resting and doing such a great job of mainting peak performance and health. He is there biggest money maker. As the old saying goes- the fattest pig gets slaughtered.

its hard to have it both ways- watching LeBron play into June EVERY SINGLE YEAR- making the league oodles of money every single year--- but then complaining about him sitting a small handful of games in the regular season?

something has to give.

Even as a lifelong Celtics fan wiggy's comment about Magic pissed me off. @WiggyRuss ...when a Celtics fan is telling you you're way outta line that should be a clue for you to shut the fuck up.

that- i think is a great point and the biggest problem with it- the dynamic pricing.

that WOULD piss me off i paid EXTRA to see the Cavs and LeBron was sitting. The league doesnt make pricing though- the individual teams do.

As a consumer- if you see the Cavs have 4 games in 5 days, or 6 games in 9 days- and are on the road- you gotta know there is at least a chance its gonna happen.

but what are we really talking about here? Somewhere between 6 and 8 games a season? Is that really breaking the leagues the back?

I don't want an apology from him, it would mean much. But he's gotta understand (not that he ever will) saying certain things is just crossing the line.

he just sucks and isnt worth a 1st rounder- he just choked against their biggest rival. they were in 3rd when they traded for him- will either be in3 rd or 4th when the season ends- and will not go any farther then they were supposed to- because the guy does absolutely nothing to move the needle.

he has had great stats against a bunch of crap teams. Now we can see what his actual worth it---going out west- against some tough teams--- its easy to beat up on crap teams---- lets see what he can do against teams thata re on the level of what he might see in the playoffs. if last night is any indication we can expecet a lot more clanging of rims.

the guy's shown over these last couple of years that he's never gonna get it, so why would today be any different...?

i just think its hilarious adam silver complaining about lebron sitting when lebron is by far the biggest moneymaker in hte league in the last decade.

adam silver prob owes half his salary to lebron's greatness.

absolutely no vision here by the league. no intelligence.

they cant balance 6-8 regular season games- against YEAR AFTER YEAR AFTER YEAR of performances in the playoffs that do more to fill league coffers than anyone in the history of the game outside of MJ.

we just got one of the best finals in history- one of the best rated finals in history- where 32 year old LeBron made great athletic play after athletic play.

I guarantee you when they were checking the ratings for those games- and they were jumping up and down cheering about how great the ratings were- they werent pissing and moaning about a small handful of regular season games in December and January and March. Talk about missing the big picture. lol.

its just hypocrisy at its finest. They need to just let LeBron do his thing- he is much better at it then they are.

just get out of the Kings way- shut their big fucking yaps- and let him make money for them like he has done at a historic level over the last decade and give him a simple "Thank You".

Adam Silver doesnt make 8 figures because he is a great commissioner- lol...he makes 8 figures because of LeBron James.
