Hey, I will have you know that in exchange for Derek Brassard, Derek Dorsett, and "Headhunting" Johnny Moore we ultimately got (RFA) Matt Frattin AND a conditional draft pick.

And about 21 games out of Gaborik.

Yah that was dumb. Whats to be bitter about. He took us to the final. Everything about the team got stale. Even he knew it was time to go when he didnt even bother with a post season presser last season.

If im bitter about anything, its that the canucks are still stale. Hope that changes soon

As for who teams want to play in series, it should not matter at this point - people who would rather play a specific team, I don't understand why - you're in the Finals, you should be able to beat anyone - Kings or Blackhawks fans wouldn't be saying, "Oh we'd rather have this team than that team" but I already hear a bunch of Rangers people/fans saying, "We want this team" - either team you face will be difficult

As a fan of a team or a part of the team you should be confident no matter who you play - picking a team over another just doesn't feel right - you're going to have to earn it no matter who you play

From a coaching or organizational point of view, there can definitely be preferable matchups.

Players shouldn't care. Fans... eh. they have no effect on the outcome. Let 'em spout off.

From a coaching point of view, sure, but don't get your hopes up - you have to be prepared for either matchup

Idc who we play, bring them both on! Hawks may be the easier match up, so prefer them, but the Kings don't scare me.
