Pulling for the Habs in this series, but it's not so bad if the Rangers win. Glad it's not the Bruins. Nothing against Boston, I just like to see a little variety in the SCF.

Another O-6 team in the SCF has to make the NHL pretty happy regardless of which way this series goes.

Montreal could potetially have a secret weapon if Galchenyuk is ready to come back

Agreed, it's nice to see it mixed up sometimes

That would be a nice boost - I wonder who they sit out for him

Tom Gulitti ‏@TGfireandice now

Obviously, Lundqvist will start in MTL Sat,, but hasn't played there since 1/15/12. Career, he's 4-5-2, 3.87 GAA, .876 save % at Bell Centre

Two energetic, balanced teams and two goalies who both have that "x" factor.

No way am I going to offer a prediction.

I have no idea who I think will win this series. I would not be surprised to see it go 7.

I'm slowly going to get tired of hearing all the bad things about Hank and his record at thr Bell Centre. I think those demons are behind him, this goalie match-up is going to be excellent. Expecting a lot of 1 goal games and not much scoring in each game.

One thing the Rangers' need to do in this series, is use their speed. I think the scoring may be balanced on both ends of the ice. I think Vanek may have a solid series for them, as well as Patches. We need our top line to step up, gotta utilize the speed of Hags and Kreider to get by the defensemen, only 2 that really scare me of locking players down, are Subban and Markov. Another thing, teams are about equal in size, which is good and the biggest reason I didn't want the Bruins again. I don't think either team will be able to out-muscle one another, think the physical play is going to be pretty even.

A rematch of the 1979 Stanley Cup Finals - Rangers took game 1 before the Habs rolled off four straight.

'86 Wales Conference Final too. Where's Ron Greschner?
