I have to admit that for some reason I enjoy watching this year's team. They won't win a game and constantly shoot themselves in the foot but they play hard.

Yep. I expected them to win no more than 4 but I didn't expect zero which is what will happen I'm afraid. I'm getting to old to be able to keep saying "next year" but, for this team, I think the future looks pretty good.We kind of knew going into the season they wouldn't win many games. My prediction best case was 5 games if the team was relatively injury free and a few things went their way. 25 players have gone onto IR now and they are challenged just to fill the 46 man roster. They couldn't turn over the entire roster in one year. Now they have a better idea of where they need to go this offseason. I expect a lot more change.

Agreed. I understand they have a lot of cap room for signing free agents. WIll they spend that money though? The tons of empty seats I keep seeing on TV have me worried about the 49ers willingness to spend money.I hope the future is. This upcoming draft is going to be critical. Can't afford to pull a Baalke and draft busts.
A historically bad matchup. SF has been reduced to ashes given the injuries and there really isn't much left to look forward to....except Jimmy G. He'll be the only reason why I'll tune in for Niners games from here till the end of the season.

Nice to see Staley back this week. That really hurt
Agreed. A veteran QB like Manning should have a field day against this college level secondary. Unfortunately, I see the Giants winning this one easily.A historically bad matchup. I'm trying to remember, is this the first lead of the year?A lead!

I think they were leading by three in OT in the first Arizona game before they choked it away.I could've sworn that the telecast said that SF ran only 6 plays with a lead this year.
