So long for the theory by New York fans who were predicted that the Knicks would automatically get Zion and Kevin Durant, sign Anthony Davis and was already guaranteed a championship in 2010, but my condolences to Zion. I always hate to see a player get hurt. I wonder if too much being asked of these rookies in a time when perhaps their bodies are not quite ready for a man's game

Zion Williamson has surgery today to repair torn meniscus in right knee and is expected to miss six to eight weeks, Pels say.

Honestly, no one should be shocked about this. There was no way he was lasting an enter season without getting hurt. Didn't think it would be this soon but not unexpected.

I just hope he doesn't turn out to be the next Greg Odon. He has all the talent in the world (minus the 3 point shot) but dude needs to slim down imo

Yeah, I heard that one of the concerns about this type of injury/surgery, this early in a players career is that it can lead to an arthritic condition in his knees (which, if memory serves, is what happened with Brandon Roy).

Yeah I am thinking with this injury he will be an injury risk the rest of his career, sadly

I knew he wasn't going to stay and in this day and age it would be stupid for him to but I wish he had stayed at Duke for one more year

So he's aiming for Randle comps now? He'll have to step it up, Randle only played 1 game his rookie year lol.
