Well, tbh, I could live with that as I'm only figuring on their going 10-3, but that's including a bowl game win, which is hard to predict. So we're only 1 game different. If we only got 8-4 regular season, I'd be very confident in winning the bowl game, but if we go 9-3, our bowl opponent could end up a very tough game, so I could see them losing it?

You forgot to add that Iowa beat MN that year too. In fact there isn't a player on Iowa that has ever lost to MN

I’m hopeful considering how last year ended that we get to 7 wins. There is no reason for us not to go at minimum 2-1 in non conference. I’m just not sure I see 5 wins in conference. So time will tell.

Well, that was MY opinion. I'm sure it will take a little more time for the rest of the country to catch up to my opinion.

And most of the offense that returns in 2020, will return in 2021 as well, and by 2021 the defense could be in really good shape. So I don't see there being a significant drop. 9 or 10 wins next year and 10+ in 2021 will go along ways towards solidifying his #3 spot. Can't reliably predict much beyond that.

But we play in a REAL conference, and play 9 games now in conference. So...
