Did I hear it right on the radio today that the transfer rule has been changed back to the way it always had been in the past and plays like the JPA play at the plate would be an out like it should have been.

Ha! It was the play at the plate that got RW kicked out because he came out to argue the transfer rule.

lol this all can't be a coincidence. I'm sorry. I've been watching sports for too many years to think this is all just a coincidence. There has to be something with their preparation and offseason conditioning. Derek Holland was a coincidence, but everyone else is fucking ridiculous and I'm sick of it.

It's definitely unfortunate but shit happens. The good news is we get two major contributors back this weekend and we have the best record in the AL. It could be a lot worse.

Guessing Choo isn't ready to come back... and Murphy at DH is still stupid

But I do like Beltre batting 3rd

Doesn't sound great...

After visiting with spine specialist Dr. Drew Dossett in Dallas on Thursday, Kouzmanoff was diagnosed with a herniated disc in his lower back. He received an epidural injection, was placed on the disabled list and will rest the remainder of the weekend. If he does not respond to the injection, surgery is possible. It would likely knock Kouzmanoff out for the remainder of the year.

Every time I see the line-up and JPA is in there it makes me mad. I'm not kidding either. I can't figure out what this guy is doing to be on this roster. We've lost quite a few games while he's in there, and we've won a lot more with Chirinos in there. The guy is batting .067 with 0 HR's. That's the one thing he does is hit HR's, and he's not even doing that.

Just had this procedure done last wednesday, supposed to take 5-7 days to start feeling relief from the epidural. I am at day 9 and have just started to get some slight relief. We probably won't know for a couple weeks if he can go the rest of the year. I was told that mine may take a series of 3 injections before a decision for surgery is made. Mine is a bit different as I had 2 herniated disks and 1 of them has a tear in it. Hope for the best for KK. I know it really sucks, and we need him whether he continued on his hot streak and even if he came back to closer to his career numbers. Team is very unlucky with the injury plague

If the DH thing wasn't an issue why take 6 million a year less to play in the OF half the time? It obviously was an issue

At the end of the day, it was a poor decision on Cruz's part, and its working out for the Orioles, so far

Well he turned down the QO before the Rangers signed Choo, not saying that if he accepted he wouldn't have been relegated to DH most of the time.

I just think he and/or his agent really envisioned there being a lot more out there for him in years or money or interested parties and the reality was with the draft pick compensation attached there just weren't many offers for him. He had to settle for what he got and it was a bad financial move on his part, hopefully for him playing the outfield part time is worth 6 million this year.
