I like your #9...it's like my #3

1, 1a: Brewers or Rockies. It's always nice to see a team win one for the first time

#3 anybody else. Won't really matter if it's not Milwaukee or Colorado.

1) Astros - I love the way they built the team and I really like a lot of the players. Springer, Altuve & Verlander especially.
2) Athletics - I like Beane and that they never buy big-time free agents. I like Matt Chapman a lot.
3) Brewers - New blood, I liked Counsell when he helped the D'Backs beat the Yanks in '01. Likeable players and I love Miller Park.
4) Rockies - New blood again and also likeable players.
5) Braves - Built the team the right way.
6) Indians - Nothing to really dislike.
7) Cubs - Running out of options and they're not the Dodgers, Yanks or Red Sox.
...25 feet of dirt...
8) Dodgers - Don't like when teams just buy all the best players year after year.
...50 feet of dirt...
9) Yankees - See above.
...50 more feet of dirt...
10) Red Sox - See above again.

Some of the Dodgers best players are homegrown (Kershaw, Seager, Bellinger, Stripling, Buehler, Pederson), not to mention Turner was a utility guy when they signed him and he turned into a star.

1. Yankees (It's been 10 years...10...long...years lol)
2. Brewers (Love an underdog story and the Brewers are the one this year)
3. Rockies (Built from the farm system, just like the Astros. Can see good things in the future for these guys)
4. Braves (It's about time this team was really good again)
5. Indians (Can't help but root for them, unless they play the Yankees. It's been 70 years. 70...REEAAL LONG...Years haha)
6. Athletics (If they beat the Yankees, they will probably move up the list just because they will face Boston)
7. Dodgers (They were in the WS last year, 6 years of dominance, would like to see someone else represent the NL)
8. Astros (No repeats please)
9. Red Sox (Obvious reasons)

Yep, you're right. And even the Yankees aren't as bad at it as they used to be. But you still can't say either of them don't spend a TON of money. And a lot of it on guys that weren't homegrown.

Last year we didn't buy our team and we went pretty far. This year, we went on a shopping spree again and I fear it's not gonna work out the way we want it to. We should've learned from our success last year.

I wouldn't mind if the A's won it all...that $80m payroll is just over 1/3 of the Red Sox payroll of $234 million...

I'm the closest thing to a casual you'll see ( because the Reds will be bad forever ).

I just wanna see Yankees vs Red Sox. Fuck off A's.

As for who I'm rooting for? The Dodgers are way due for a chip. So I'll go with them I guess.

It's funny how it works. Seems like when teams try to build "super teams" it almost never works. Marlins did it for one year in 2012 I think...failed. Blue Jays tried it a couple years later and failed. Padres tried it couple years ago...failed. I'm sure there are more examples, those are just off the top of my head.

Yeah, super teams usually don't work out in the MLB like they do in the NBA lol. We of all teams should know that by now.

It's been 9 years for the Yanks not 10. Sheesh, you wonder why we all hate you.
