Mainly I just have some snacks such as pretzels and potato chips as I watch football - sometimes I might order a pizza or something, I’ll likely just heat up a frozen dinner or cook something earlier in the day on Super Bowl Sunday. It’s just me so there’s no reason to have a lot of food and I don’t want to be distracted during the game.

The major reason I never go out to watch the Super Bowl. Everybody’s yapping and then wanting to watch commercials and all that bullshit. I don’t even start watching it until the rest of the world is already into the halftime show. Then I’ll turn on my recording and scooch through the anthem and a bunch of other uninteresting crap and start watching.
I think last year my son and I had grilled cheese sandwiches.

Cotdamnit. Can't edit the title.

Hmm, I just thought chuffs was some new snack slang I haven't heard of. Turns out it still is defined as a steam engine puffing sound... or anus according to Urban Dictionary. Anyway, I appreciate you bringing attention to this.

Now that said, prob. gotta stick with hot dogs. Easy to make, doesn't distract from the game too much, lots of topping alternatives (bacon wrapped cheddar chili dogs for example - if you have been managing your waistline for January), and relatively cheap.

I pretty much always watch the SBOWL alone. A well done chili dog always seems to do nicely.

Same, I was harnessing Booger from Revenge of the Nerds but instead of “wtf is a frush?” it was “chuff”.

Pizza and wings usually from a local place and we make appetizers at home too, usually pigs in a blanket or bbq lil’ smokies.

Chips n’ dip also, usually tortilla chips and queso dip.

The GF just declared we were watching the Superbowl this year. Good news, she makes good wings, Bad news her diet food sucks.

I can’t believe you guys aren’t eating gluten free vegan shit. Like cardboard and tree bark.

the wife usually cuts up a variety of cheeses and sausages with spicy mustard, different kinds of crackers and a variety of pickles and olives. Then at some point a kick ass bourbon will make an appearance.

I’ve been doing low carb diet, but I think the Super Bowl is going to be a cheat meal and I’ll order a pizza. Either that or I’ll just grill up a steak or make some wings.
