If the redskins are gonna swing for a wilson or rodgers, then its important to think about what this team has to offer wilson and rodgers, should they decide to come here:

-yearly off the field drama,
- an ongoing FBI investigation
-a figurehead owner stand-in for an owner who fans dont like
-a large stadium filled with opposing fans
-high taxes and a high cost of living in the dc area

And on the positive:
Terry McLaurin
AG - pretty good rb
a pretty good oline
An ok playcaller
Better weather than either green bay or seattle.

I agree. Dan will definitely want a big name to be the face of the re-brand. I am crossing my fingers that Ron is skipping the Senior Bowl because three of his coaches are gonna be on the West staff.

Then again, Ron could be all in on trade and feel the Senior Bowl is a waste of time.

It's two fold. Dan needs to put butts in the seats and Ron can't post three losing seasons in his first three years on the job.

They will swing, and swing big. If they miss, they will settle on one of the kids and probably reach while doing so.

I think Rodgers is out of the question.

Russ being from Richmond playing in an East coast market. Playing in the NFC East. Like it or not it is still a glamor division. If Russ was our QB, both the Cowboys games are nationally televised and probably one of the Eagles games. That said, he is a stretch as well.

I think Watson can be had. Just so much surrounding that situation.

Listening to Cooley on Sheehan's podcast, he was laughing while he said, "why would they go get Trubisky.....he stinks!"lol

Three #1s and Payne gets the Watson deal done imo.
