Had 4 hits his 2nd game back. Since he's hitting .181 with a WRC+ of 72

Stupid me was saying send him back down and give him the Zunino tour and call up O'Neill. Well that ain't going to happen now...

Martin could be an option. Pretty easy to forget about him. He appears to have worked out whatever was wrong with his swing and is playing quite well down in AAA.

Martin's currently hitting .317/.359/.508 with 10HRs, 23 doubles, 4 triples and 23 SBs in 78 games. We all know he's terrific defensively, and it looks like he couldn't be doing any better at the plate. I think he deserves a spot if we send Haniger down.

This is frustrating for sure.... After such a gusty series vs one of the best teams in baseball right now, and with what was a great road trip, they come home and shit the bed... It's especially irritating considering this is the team they are right behind in the wild card hunt... They should be extra focused in this series and playing great baseball ....

A split will never be fine when you are behind in the standings and you would be splitting with the team you are trying to catch. It just takes games off the schedule.

Pet peeve time again since my wife is tired of hearing me say it. Why is it when the opponent has a guy on 3B with less than 2 outs we always throw high to the batters who just put the bat on the ball for a SF? I mean all year long and all different pitchers for us do it. I was always under the thought they you threw breaking stuff down to induce a ground ball? Mariners baseball...fantastic!
