I had a feeling after we scored only the 1 run but left the bases loaded in the 1st....it would come crashing down to bite us in the ass at some point.
Yeah, just like the 6th last night.

They just seem flat

and the extra bases.....FFS.....

Thanks again, Collins.

Fuckin' a-hole should have left Harvey go 6....and if he knew he was gonna pull him after 5, why not just PH for him in the bottom of the 4th instead???
Did he seriously think 1 lousy run was gonna hold up?????

heard he was on a 70 throw pitch count yesterday....went 73 through 5

I wish somebody would go up to Harvey and ask him "is your agent happy now?"

when the yankees pay him i imagine he will be....

he should just shut it down, no win situation he put himself in and more distraction than anything good at this point. unless of course selig plans to change the playoff games length to 5 innings.....cause then he is golden!

Well the four errors have nothing to do with Harveys pitch count. They picked a bad game to suck defensively

And now the bullpen seems to have quit, too.

you think the team doesnt feel the same way as the fans.....guy is throwing a shutout with 73 pitches through 5 against crosstown rivals with a 6 game lead the last week of the season and he needs a nap. whole team feels that letdown and it leads to sloppy play.

But seriously....why didn't they just PH for him in the 4th?
Did he really have to go 5??
Did TC actually think the 1 run would hold up???

NEW YORK -- The only hit Matt Harvey allowed Sunday night cost the New York Mets a player, and it's not yet clear how long Juan Uribe will be out.

Uribe hit the ground hard while diving to stop Brett Gardner's ground ball, in the third inning of what became an 11-2 Mets loss to the New York Yankees. While Uribe remained in the game, he left two innings later with what the Mets described as a chest contusion.

X-rays were negative, but manager Terry Collins said after he game that Uribe will have an MRI exam Monday.

"He's pretty sore," Collins said.
