I need a new truck. Looking for a half ton 150 with an 8ft bed but nobody makes pick up trucks anymore. All they seem to sell these days is a 4 door SUV with a fuckin' grocery bin in the back.

What happened to trucks? Why can't I bring home a 4 by 8 sheet of plyscore? You have to go to a 3/4 ton to get a full sized bed. Doesn't anyone need a work truck anymore? Everything available is 10 years old.

Trucks are now oversized minivans with beds in them. They don't fit in parking spaces and they are so big on the road it makes it difficult to see ahead of them if you have a regular sized car. Their size is the reason European nations don't buy them.

I get I know a lot of people that own trucks and do not use them for what I always assumed a truck was for. Hauling, Towing, Ranching, Farming. Construction etc. Those same people want pretty trucks with pristine interiors and have driven the cost of trucks through the roof. My ole lady wanted a Tundra, I said honey we really aren't truck people, her reply I know but I like the way the look. So I showed her the MPG amazing how quickly she started not liking the Tundra
