WSIS week 14

12tm half ppr, I'm in 2nd place in standings (1 GB) and 2nd in overall pts (-13.6pts) - 1st in both pays out. 3rd place has the most pts on the season and will get the 1st round bye if I lose and they win.

1st place in standings has bye week blues and is facing 5th place who is in a must-win to make the playoffs scenario.
3rd place doesn't have bye week issues and is facing a weaker team that has bye week issues....so I really need to pull out the W and maximize my points scored.

I’d go Pickens over Nico. Not sure what happened to his target share last week, but I assume that is the outlier.
Nico gets targets, sure, but from a terrible arm against an excellent secondary.

The classic betting on junk points dilemma. I agree that the only choice is Nico vs Pickens. I think I lean Nico. Dallas should roll Houston and Nico should be getting all kinds of chunk plays in the 2nd half when they are in "bend but don't break" mode.

Only issue with that?

When Dallas is in lead protection mode, that is when their pass rushers go off.

Dallas defense had more return yards than Indy had total yards in the 4th quarter last week.

They are the one team you just can’t bet on garbage time production against. If Pierce can’t get going, that offense is in big trouble this week.

have been kicking around the thought of rolling Wilson and Davis out there.
Jets have some very favorable QB/WR matchups with potential shootout every week vs Bills, Detroit, Jags, Seahawks

Any QB that knows how to throw an NFL football seems to be able to light it up with these WRs, such a shame Zach Wilson isn't one of those QBs

Flex: Foreman as long as he's playing. The answer is always "RB vs Seattle" when it's an available option

hate matchups for Juju and Gallup and feel like those 2 above have the best opportunity

All of these injuries could end up being GTDs. I should probably play it safe, since I am playing to lock up the #1 overall seed. I play the worst team in the league and need a win to clinch. The only other team that can catch me needs a win (over another 8-5 team), me to lose, and to make up 8 wins in the All Play record (12 teams, so I would have to finish in the bottom 3 and she would need to be the top scorer this week or damn close to it).

Zeke and Kirk should be my RB and WR, then I should be able to start one of those Qs in at flex. If all of them end up sitting, though, I would probably have to drop Dam Harris and pick up either Davonte Parker or Trent Sherfield.

Pretty sure that is the right game plan. Even more-so now that I have typed it all out. Thanks, guys!

No surprise there after two days of missed practices. With Cooks down, Nico Collins (foot) likely down, and Davis Mills facing the vaunted Cowboys pass defense, the Texans will be using wideouts like Chris Moore and Phillip Dorsett as starters. It's a situation to avoid in fantasy. And in real life, honestly.

wish or dixon, flip a coin unless there is a more scientific way based on your scoring settings, but from what I recall, you need a guy that kicks for a lot of punt yardage and keep it inside the 20
